Rite of Christian Initiation
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a process toward full sacramental initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) into the Roman Catholic Church. This process is for those who have never been baptized, for those baptized in another Christian tradition wishing full communion with the Catholic Church, and for those fallen-away Catholics wishing to come home to the Church.
RCIAC (Rite of Christian Initiation Adapted for Children) is for children 7-17 years old who have not been baptized, and for teenagers who have been baptized but who have not received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
Formation sessions for children and adults are held weekly.
There will be an informal Information Night on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 7:00 pm in McKeever Hall for all those interested in learning more about the RCIA/C process. Coming to this meeting in no way means a commitment to joining the Church. It is simply the best way to learn more.
