Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is typically celebrated every year in the Spring for our candidates in 8th grade. However, high school students and adults who have not been Confirmed are most welcome. Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation for students is a two-year process. Each September, 7th graders will begin preparation for Confirmation, as the 8th graders will finish their second year and then be Confirmed in the Spring. If by chance you have an 8th grader or high school student who did not start the Confirmation program last year, he or she can still be Confirmed in the Spring with some modifications to the preparation schedule. Preparation includes sessions for candidates, parents and sponsors, a Retreat, and opportunities for prayer, service and community building.
